Time AI is the intelligent assistant built into the platform. Think of it as an internal ChatGPT that knows Timely.ai inside and out: you describe what you need and it creates agents, configures squads, generates reports, and suggests next steps — all through text.

Accessing Time AI

Click the Time AI icon in the sidebar (spark icon) or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+K / Cmd+K on any page of the platform. A chat window opens over the current interface.

Operating modes

Time AI operates in two modes that you can switch using the selector above the input field:
Direct conversation with the copilot. You ask questions, request analyses, or ask for one-off actions. Time AI uses the session history to maintain context between messages.Usage examples:
  • “Create a technical support agent for SaaS with a formal tone”
  • “Show me the service metrics from last week”
  • “Which agent had the most conversations today?”
For tasks that involve multiple steps, Time AI displays a progress indicator with each phase of execution. You follow in real time what is being done: planning, execution, validation, and delivery.Usage examples:
  • “Create a squad with sales and post-sales agents and connect it to my WhatsApp”
  • “Analyze all conversations from this week and generate a satisfaction report”

Smart autocomplete

As you type, Time AI suggests contextual completions based on your usage history and the existing entities in your account (agents, squads, channels). Suggestions appear in gray after the cursor — press Tab to accept or continue typing to dismiss.

Mentions with @

Use @ to reference entities directly in your message:
  • @agent-name — for operations on a specific agent
  • @squad-name — for actions on a squad
  • A search menu opens automatically when you type @

Attachments and images

Click the clip icon or drag files to the input field to send images and documents. Time AI processes visual and textual content in a combined manner, allowing questions such as “What is wrong in this screenshot?” or “Extract the data from this table”.

Quick suggestions

On the Time AI home screen (no active session), suggestion chips appear with common actions for your usage profile. Click any chip to start the conversation with that context pre-loaded.

Session history

1

Access the history

Click the clock icon in the upper-right corner of Time AI to see all previous sessions.
2

Resume a session

Click any session in the list to reopen it with full context. Time AI picks up where it left off.
3

New session

Use the pencil button (new chat) to start a clean session without previous history.

Reactions and feedback

On each Time AI response you can use the thumbs up or thumbs down buttons to indicate whether the response was helpful. This feedback is used to improve future suggestions in your account.
Time AI does not execute destructive actions (deleting agents, ending production conversations) without asking for explicit confirmation. Critical operations always show a confirmation dialog before proceeding.
When Time AI performs external research to supplement a response, it displays the consulted sources just below the message. Click any source to open the original link.
